That, inevitably, is the bottom line. It doesn't matter whether Froch beats a shell of Robin Reid; what matters is that Froch just doesn't have the goods to deal with the Calzaghes, Kesslers, Taylors or even Lacys of this world.

Also, the Fubar is a good club by the standards of a place like Stirling.

Both fighters made the weight 1st time, just inside the 168lb limit

Froch looks like some kind of bird.

Reid looks in shape at least.

I think Froch will find out tonight what stepping up in class is all about.

That said, i'm not saying he can't win - but Reid could be on the tailend of his career that's all. 5yrs ago Reid by stoppage.

Reid had nothing to offer and pulled out after 5. Froch was very beatable, a prime Reid would have destroyed him.

Is he claiming to be the best in the world? Is he calling out Calzaghe?

Froch KD'ed Reid in two rounds, every time with soft shots, particularly the first time...It's not so much that he KD'ed him as much as Reid crouched down and the ref counted him...he was very shot. But he did manage to win at least one of the opening two rounds...

Reason why I was interested in this fight is to see what Froch brings to the table, particularly in terms of defence...I don't have good news, unfortunately...Froch's defense has not improved one bit and he was being caught by Reid's looping rights time after time...when they fought on the inside, quite a few times Reid got the better of him...in th clinches - because, as expected, Reid made it quite dirty, Froch didn't impress, but he wasn't dirty...

What disappointed me was that Froch was not very fast tonight, nor very mobile, nor were his punches that big...it's almost as if he went easy on old Reid...

What I cannot forgive him for was the disrespect he showed Reid on two occasions - first, when Reid slipped and grabbed Froch's feet, after Reid released, Froch pushed him with his feet whilst he was on the floor, as if he was a piece of rubbish...also, at another point, he held his head for ages in an armlock, as if he was trying to humiliate Reid...

By tonight's performance I could not say that Froch has made a step forward...perhaps he was taking it really easy, but then, why did he have to take on a shot Reid anyway, and blow the importance of this matchup out of proportion...the fact that he disrespected Reid showed what he really thought of this match-up...

Disappointed with Froch's performance. This 30 year old is going nowhere fast, on the basis of this performance...

Froch is like a slow motion Berrio, with a little punch resistance.
