You say he's shitting on him.
I think he's pointing out the positives and negatives.

Calzaghe's tears don't cure cancer, he doesn't **** gold. He's human, he has flaws. Warrens interview was very balanced.

And I can prove he didn't go try for the big fights through what Warren said. At least I have some evidence. Where is your's to the contrary?

Your 'evidence' from Warren states that Calzaghe tried to fight Hopkins and Jones in the early part of the decade, but that they wouldn't play, that he tried to fight Beyer and Ottke, but no interest from them.

If Hopkins, Jones or Ottke weren't 'big fights' in that period, then who was?

fighting roy at 40 and thinking he beat the best roy or would have always beat roy.other then that anything else would be just hating.but i still think roy and bhop are better and are p4p better then he is.

but he is a beast and he retired on top.he only loss one fight as amature i heard.so hes like 100 and something wins and only 1 conterversial defeat in the ams.

He's not his own promoter. Hes his former promoter, who split on accrimonious terms. Now he wouldnt have an axe to grind, would he:nut

Agree.. my main question is why didn't he come to america and fight Roy Jones back then or B hop? He would have proven more fighting these 2 legends during their prime than beating them when they're 40 yrs old. :patsch

Hop wasn't coming up, Roy wasn't coming down, and Cal just stayed. Roy and hop would've made more fighting Cal overseas...so they can all be blamed for not making these fights happen earlier in their careers. IMO it was circumstance. All three at one point or another said they would fight each other, and it didn't happened!

JC didn't duck Taylor..Taylor lost to Kelly and than Joe had no reason to fight Taylor while Taylor was finishing his business with Kelly in the rematch! Joe retired #2 lb 4 lb and I never really saw any mega fights with Joe C...His fight with Jones did 200,000 buys which is very bad for a fighter of his level...He shoulda fought Chad or gave bhop the rematch!

Give me any top 10 p4p fighter today. Have them fight 2-3 guys this year, not one of them elite and he would be called all sorts. Calzaghe did it for 10 years!!! Can you imagine the likes of PBF or Pac never chasing a big fight for a decade, simply going for the likes of Solis, Velasquez or Bruseles and Corley?

Pac has fought J.m.M once in his prime, and that's it. To compare him to past atg's because he beat "past it" fighters with big names is an insult to boxing fans and all boxing historians...imo lol.
