i'm not a hater but retiring undefeated has been done before and will be done again. Hell even Chris John is undefeated in 43 fights. being undefeated is not that important and not an achievement in and of itself. **** I mean look, this guy is undefeated in 38 fights. Imagine if he retired tomorow http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=015680&cat=boxer "a perfect 38 and 0, read it and weep haters!"
yeah he retired on top beating bums and old shot fighters...who did he beat worth mentioning? lacy? kessler?... an old bhop knocked him down and to some had him beat, went down too a shot jones, who in his prime would have beat joe's ass black and blue and if they met way before we might not be talking about calslappy...thats how great joe is...
John has one victory over a prime elite and it's disputed (Marquez). Calzaghe has one victory over a prime elite and it's not, at all (Kessler).
No one is really devastated about joe retiring. he only fought twice in the U.S and both fight was against fighters way past their prime. the only time i was impress with calzaghe is when he beat kessler.
lol so true both calzaghe and John are undefeated and both has fought most of their career in their country. John is finally coming to america to fight rocky Juarez. There's nobody else that's good at featherweight since linares and guerrero both moved up to super featherweight. If john beats juarez then he can retire undefeated just like calzaghe :happy:happy:happy
