    He was close but never P4P #1.

    Weird he was only 2-3 fights from being so but decides to hang em up now, I guess the guy doesnt want to risk it.

    Well that goes to show you that Joe was afriad of getting in the ring with pavlik after talking a good game. Only to have old man Hop beat Pavlik. Something that Joe could have done as well but he was to scared to get in the ring with him. Wasted oppotunity for Joe if you ask me.:hi:

    He will be remembered for protecting his 0 more than his boxing ability.

    Surely it would have been better to lose to a peak Jones and/or Hopkins than beat up (in Jones's case) on an old shot version?

    Wrong dumbass, they fought and beat REAL establish fighters. Something Joe really cant lay claim to.
