    Winky????? :rofl

After being harped on for Roy and Bernard, you really think an old inactive Winky would help matters???

  2. Not interested in disputing it, Roy Jones Jr has one of the greatest US careers ever...

what a stupid statement - what does nationality or where fights were fought have to do with it? America is NOT the home or anything else of boxing, the only thing it is the home to is a bunch of fighters who hide behind their own networks to try to claim home advantage... Lacy deserves more respect than many american fighters - he went to the UK to fight Joe... Would Bhop/Jones dare do that? NOPE, however they'd happily wait at home for Joe to cross the atlantic for them...

    Double frigging standards!

Oh, and SMW is not a Euro division, the US fighters just suck nowadays in that division....

  3. You really want to play this game? I can guarantee there are more laughable names on the likes of Jones Jr, and other american greats than Calzaghe's....

Look, the fact is Joe left alot of questions unanswered. He owed BHOP a rematch for starters. Plus, there are alot of fighters closer to their prime that Joe could have fought such as Dawson, Taylor, Pavlik. He fought and beat Kessler and thats his best win. Thats it. I'm done here

  5. How can Hopkins be blamed for ducking Joe ????

If Joe really wanted the big fights, you would have thought he might have tried to unify his WBO trinket before his 8th Year as "Champ"

Joe was always in it for the money, The biggest gain for the smallest risk. There is nothing wrong with that.... Eubank readily admitted he was a Businessman first.

Well I guess he took a calculated risk and realized there were no more 40+ fighters out there who would have knocked him out 5 years ago to fight. I mean lets be honest, he couldnt fight Chad Dawson (or even rematch Hopkins), too good of a chance he'd lose.

I don't think Joe or Floyd owe anybody any answers. Fans need to stfu or get into the promoting business if they want to complain so much about what fights should get made but don't.

How did he owe Hopkins a rematch? Hopkins insulted him big time all the way therough the press conferences, and then didnt trun up to fight! Just tried fughting dirty, faking low blows and clinching so much, The guy should have been disqualified! Hopkins had his chance and blew it, - end of story!

Yes Joe was a great business man with Warren - after all boxing is a business

BUT Joe never ducked anybody! Can the same be said for Bhop?

I have a lot of respect for Hopkins but the way he treated th fight against Calzaghe was awful!

  13. Anyway can anyone explain how a guy who has only fought 3 fellow belt holders in 46 fights....Be considered an ATG ????

Good career not Great..... To many ppl missed

If thats the case then why should Hatton get another shot @ PBF? Hopkins came closer to victory than Hatton, Hopkins actually finished the fight, and finished it standing.

Congrats Joe! 46-0 is something to be proud of. And beat his fellow HOF contemporaries: Hopkins (#3 p4p), Jones.

History will be kind to Joe.
