The scoring if this fight was an utter disgrace, a split decision??? The judge who made that card should never be allowed to judge ever again. A split decision in this fight is the kind of judging that leaves a HUGE black mark over our beautiful sport.

    Here's my 100% accurate card:

Did anyone actually track the punchstat numbers!??! They make HORRIBLE reading for Hopkins, he got out-landed in almost every single round by a ratio of something close to 4-1. Calzaghe landed on Hopkins more than Roy Jones did back in '93!!

I made a post yesterday telling stupid dumb**** Hopkins fans because I saw it coming... Clean and Economical punching counts for exactly **** when you are getting badly out-landed and that is exactly what happened tonight.

A split decision is a ****ing joke, this was a land slide to Calzaghe.

Get out of here, Joe robed.

I had it 114-113 for Joe, he won the fight on work rate alone as Nard landed the harder punches by a landslide.

    Congrats to Joe though.

I agree that Joe C won, but honestly man, compubox doesnt always tell the story.

Sure Joe C landed alot, but how many of them were meaningful shots? You're not gonna sit here an actually try and tell me that the majority of those punches he landed were meaningful. He rarely turned his fist over on a punch during the whole fight.

This is not what I expected. I was predicting that there would be threads claiming robbery but in the worst case, not in a situation where Calzaghe won. 117-110 in such a fight, that can only happen in Wales with the likes of Brewer. Completely delusional as ever.

They have to be hurtful blows to take rounds, they have to visibly hurt your opponent. Hopkins punches, sans the first round, weren't putting dents in JC, JC actually out-landed Hopkins in power connects too.

Your card is a ****ing disgrace.

It definitely shouldn't have been a split decision. I'm not even gonna go back and watch it again cuz frankly, it was a boring fight. I'm gonna go with the old "first instinct is usually right" and stick with my opinion that Calzaghe won clearly cuz that's what I felt.

you do understand that anything that isnt a jab is considered a powershot by compubox right?

Meaning that all those slapping flurries that Joe threw were counted as power shots. You're delusional if you're going to try and tell me that Joe landed the more meaningful shots.

Dont be a douche. You're boy won, thats awesome. I predicted he would but try to have an unbiased view on boxing. It really helps you're analytical skills when it comes to fights.

Calzaghe displayed the ability to hurt his opponent in the vast majority of rounds, the fact that he didn't is irrelevant. He out boxed Hopkins.

Same sorry bull**** from the Hopkins huggers that we saw after the Taylor fights (Hopkins out-landed in those two). A couple of pretty punches a round is NEVER going to win you a fight against Joe Calzaghe.
