NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

If Calzaghe beats Pavlik, after about three years it will look the same as the Lacy win. Worth less than a lot.

Still be the best fighter he ever took on though.

If Calzaghe beats Kessler i think he will be good enough to beat Pavlik also.

Yeah sure he would. Calzaghe has all he can handle with Kessler, a true threat and danger.
If he beats Kessler he should move up and fight Dawson or Hopkins. If he does sign to fight Pavlik...great, people like you will back Pavlik because he is American and then he will get battered more severly than Lacy did.

Pavlik has not got a hope in hell of beating Calzaghe, not a chance. Calzage is better in every single department outside of power, and at Super Middle he is probably pretty close even there. Way too fast, way too skilled, too big, too strong and with a much better chin.

:-( This is bad news...looks like Joe is up to his old tricks again, going for the big name, hyped fighter, easy win again. (He tried to make a fight against Taylor and Hopkins but they both ducked him). Pavlik is great at 160, but he got KDed by Taylor for goodness sake! He would not beat some fairly average guys at 168 - it's just not his weight! Still, you have to hand it to Pavlik - what a brave fellow; great for boxing!:happy :happy :happy

If Joe is so keen on a Pavlik fight, he should go down to Pavlik's weight...that would be a good, fair fight!

Huh?:huh Better than Kessler? No way! The weight at which the fight is made matters a lot!

Scotland-Ukraine. Living in the highlands means I need to take a few days away for the game, make a weekend of it. In recovery now.
