Dempsey falls within the 190lb range that you specified. Tunney was a slickster and speedster who specialised in RUNNING backwards. Eubank was a lean to fighter who rellied on power and timing to keep a man of him (it worked beautifully at 160 and 168).

But Dempsey won't give a **** about either one of those qualities. I can't see how Eubank survives a round with Jack Demspey, maybe the best finisher in the business after Tyson.

I'd probably lay as much as I could put together on Dempsey stopping him, and i'd be happy to bet that Langford would stop him too.

jose fm and sonic boom what clowns. pavlik would KO eubank? :rofl

eubank was stopped once in his career, in his last fight, at cruiser, due to swelling around his eye. eubank had an iron jaw, nigel benn who hit harder than pavlik (and who would have smashed pavlik to pieces) couldn't take eubank out, pavlik chances of knocking out eubank would have been slim to none, and slim just left town ****o. :deal

well when someone starts spouting off that a fight is going to go only one way, where anyone who predicts differently hasn't got a clue, when someone has that arrogance and certainty about something then surely they mustve have the bollox to bet everything they own on it.

I THINK Calzaghe will win, but its no guarantee as they are both good fighters

Dempsey does fall in that range but I still don't believe he necessarily stops Eubank. Tough small guys survived Dempsey, Eubank is a tough small guy.

I wouldn't bet that Langford stops him. Hell no. Langford was strong and powerful but wild, sloppy and predictable.

Like I said, don't expect me to EVER bet against Eubank when it comes to being ko'd. The man faced a quality puncher at 160/168 and 190. Plus he faced an accumulation from Watson and Calzaghe.

Your an intelligent guy. Just tell me how JC is gonna slap his way to victory when Kelly with his longer arms & straighter punches will wade through all that crap & when KP lands, which he ALWAYS does, it will be...

Anyone with any sound boxing knowledge should see that Calzaghe would make Pavlik look stupid, it would be a worse beatdown than the Lacy fight.

Anyone picking Pavlik to KO Calzaghe is either a Calzaghe hater or completely ignorant, even if he landed he doesn't KO Joe no way. He has one of the best chins in the sport today

    Calzaghe TKO 7

unlike taylor and miranda, calzaghe is too big and strong to be bullied into the ropes to allow pavlik to unload his shots. pavliks defence is ****ing shocking, when calzaghe starts slapping from all sorts of angles he will be screwed and put in a world of pain.

well why is he unbeaten? if his style is countered very easily then surely any old fighter could beat him.

Just want to say again that it's JOE calling out Pavlik and not the other way around. Pavlik has never said he was ready to go up and fight Joe, and neither has Pav's camp.

Joe is calling out Pavlik because its the best money-match out there.
Well, Bhop actually might make him more money but it does nothing for his legacy.
However I just wish Joe would concentrate on the matter at hand as Kessler strikes me as the most difficult fight he could've picked.
