Its impossible. Roy has faster hands than him and is damn for sure more accurate. And Calzaghe's head is one big ass target. Roy is going to get loose on him once he realizes how easy he is to hit and counter.

things that make me thing joe c can pull it off
    1. southpaw, remember tarver was a skilled southpaw and most of jones previous fights werent
jones might suffer the southpaw jinx
    2. cal, in the hopkins fight, although he does slap etc et al
seems to retain a LOT of handspeed
that is one thing he has been known for from years back
I think the question is jones, is it possible he made a blueprint out of b hops defeat(narrow and by some sources contriversial, personally I think cal won by a point or two maybe but an arguement could be made the oppisite way), the same way b hop made a blueprint for victory out of trinidad's victory over DLH

    Yeah Roy from 2002.

    Roy is shot as ****.

Since his 2 KO losses, he hasnt done anything. Beat 2 nobodies and a retired Trinidad who is way past his best weight. Had a few moments in Tarver 3 but ran most of the time and was too timid to engage him.

He hasnt looked good since the Ruiz fight. He is washed up.

If schooling equates to outworking - well yes he will.

Roy Jones is a shell of his former self but he's still better than most fighters out there today at 175 lbs !!

Can you people see clearly for **** sake !!!

I've made my case pretty clear on a few other threads and might as well do it again:

This coming from a fan of Calzaghe. I try not to let **** like that cloud predictions. I predicted he'd beat Kessler, and Hopkins. I don't see it this time around. I feel RJJ will win.

Schooling implies showing up a guy as a novice, teaching him a lesson in an area of skill in which he is lacking understanding.

I don't think 'schooling' should be used no matter how the fight turns out. It's a clash of fully developed styles and remaining physical ability of two very experienced figthers.

    Looking forward to it!
