Calzaghe Slapped Hopkins Real Good

    Bernard Hopkins coach Freddie Roach said he asked the fighter to quit after the Calzaghe fight. He stated that Hopkins on 4 occasions during that bout began walking to the wrong corner! Clearly Joes "slaps" had an effect. :D

    Or it proves that Hopkins is a geriatric? An OAP who kept forgetting where his corner was? Nah, can't be that, because that would detract from Calzaghe's magnificent split-decision 'win'. It was because he was slapped silly.

    Let this go Pugilist, your threads on the subject are never-ending. You will never make enough of them to convince anyone Joe performed well on the night, he was woefully ineffective against a man with glaring stamina issues. If I were you, I'd be sweeping it under the carpet, not bringing it up at every turn.

    a combination of all i think.age eyesight and too many tiring hits.
