your right its a terrible system that i do not agree with im just trying to say this is how joe won the fight it cant be argued with, and that is just the way it is ill never change that so i choose to except it rather than let it **** me off.

    Who won Ramirez-Whittaker?

    Who won Casamayor-Santa Cruz?

    Who won De La Hoya-Sturm?

ok so let me get this straight...your saying hopkins won because he made calzaghe miss some shots and was made to look wild at times??
It doesn't matter in your eyes that hopkins didn't throw much at all, whats important in a boxing match to you is to make someone miss??
That makes no sense...using that logic you could literally start running around the ring being chased literally by your opponent for 12 rounds. and so long as you make your opponent look 'wild' and don't get hit, you should get the decision!!

Not only was it right that hopkins lost that fight, he should also be universally condemed for being such a *****, and not trying to fight!!
it was honestly one of the most gutless performances that i've seen from a so-called legend of boxing, made worse by his following fight against pavlik!

Okay Calzaghe haters, firstly I am more objective than you because I like both fighters. Secondly, tell me how Calzaghe didn't hurt B-hop and only slapped him? If this is the case why didn't B-hop just KO him? It should have been easy if Calzaghe is so terrible right?

Which fighter was both dropped and wobbled during the fight?

    Certainly not the "*****"

    dropped yes..wobbled, don't think so.

he got up instantly smiling and went on to win the rest of that round.

listen i was never the biggest calzaghe fan before that fight, and would of went along with the idea of hopkins being a modern day legend before the fight. But he just didn't turn up to fight and thats very obvious, especially from the last 7 rounds..
although calzaghe does slap at times, some of those punches are deceptively hard, if you check out some of calzaghe's Ko's on youtube some of them come from either a barage of so called slaps or a shot that looks like a slap but actually floors the opponent.

also even the guy who started this thread says that there is no way hopkins won the fight, that not even a question.

i was surprised is was a SD, that was a bigger joke

Enzo also said a stoppage was on the cards before Nard tried to preserve his dignity by rolling around on the floor holding his nuts.

    What's your point?

And wtf did Nard walk to the wrong corner 4 times between rounds if he wasn't hurt?

The best part about that clip is that HBO used it to promote Calzaghe in his fight with Jones Jr.

Those same punches, if they landed would count as clean effective punching to most of the posters here.

Not to mention that single right hand was more effective than any punch Joe landed all night.
