5th place would be another amazing acheivement by the club considering the finances available compared to the so called big 4.

With the money the fat spanish waiter has spunked away on mediocre rubbish (apart from torres) he's lucky to be in a job, Moyes would have probably won them the title by now.

What's going to be the final piece of the jigsaw this season then? It's one hell of a jigsaw I'll say that. We've been hearing that line for 10 seasons now

    i'm realistic about it.

winning the league is gonna be tough.

united are always strong. last summer they spent a fortune.

chelsea have a lot of money.

as long as liverpool are making the champs league and making progress i'm happy.

last season was our best pts total in ages. best since 91 i believe. :yep the top 3 all got over 80 pts.

just enjoy ya fight for 5th again won't ya. :hi:

Until Rafa stops rotating (ie never) you haven't a prayer of winning the league I'm afraid. And yes, most managers would have been sacked for wasting the kind of money he has. I actually like Rafa and am glad he's staying in the Premiership but his transfer policy is weak & he's clueless about winning the league.
