    Of course it does.

Now Warren gets no part of the cash, and Calzaghe rakes in minimum ten million.

I personally think Pavlik is pretty overrated but we'll have to wait and see! It is a bit late for the Calzaghe split shame it didnt happen a lot earlier

It isnt, RJJ has such a bigger name worldwide and would sell a lot more box office, Pavlik wouldn't make anywhere near as many sales, other than the boxing fans nobody over here has ever heard of Pavlik!

And another thing what says JCs next fight is on sky box office in the uk?

If Calzaghe fights Jones the next thing you will see in the Paper from Warenn is...

"To be honest everyone who has worked with Joe has known for a long time that he is hugely gifted but that he has problems with tall fighters and he can be hurt. I have done a great job maximising his career because myself, his Dad Enzo and Joe himself know he has been badly hurt in the gym by rangy fighters who can punch a bit.
Joe wanted no part of Kelly Pavlik and I know why. We spoke about Jones and both agreed it was a meaningless fight, but Joe made it pretty clear that money and not glory in the sport have long been his goals.

I wish him all the best, but it is a good job he didn't fight Pavlik as he would have been badly knocked out and we kept well clear of prime Jones and Hopkins for similar reasons"

This is stupid. Why would he do such a thing? Warren is a strong promoter and Calzaghe needs one behind him for big US fights like Jones or Pavlik.

Very stupid move unless somehow Warren is the reason that a Pavlik or Jones fight couldn't be made yet.

I dont think Warren will write anything like that. I believe there split was amicable as Warren and Joe both know it will be his last fight and he wants to cash ALL his chips. If his going to be bitter like that his going to make himself look like a grade A fool.

    thats ridicolous.. simply put..

you dont think that he has earned enough money without the jones fight..?

and somehow i cant recall a law, where it says, that former pro boxer or athletes are forbidden to work, when their sporting career is over..

joe has enough money, he has earned a substanial amount of money throughout his entire career, so its time to chase the glory and legacy..

His never been interested in that from beginning. If he was he would have split from Warren ages ago.
