Froch can be value for money and is involved in some great wars..

BUT........... Joseph was a far better alround boxer..

Calzaghe could crawl out of rehab and whoop Froch right now.

Harsh, and I don't agree with them sucking, but I agree with the basic idea..

 

What the **** did Pascal ever do before he faced Froch? granted since then he beat Diaconu but Dawsons soon to beat his arse. A shot Taylor gave him a boxing lesson until he throw the fight away, Dirrell boxed his ears off and Kessler just took his belt. How does any of this equate to more of an achievment than Calzaghe's carreer? :huh

 

I will give it to froch that I do not believe calzaghe would have manned up in this fashion and joined something like the super six. As for both of them as fighters, I feel that Calzaghe was the last real skillful fighter to come out of europe. Froch is just a SMW with Cruiserweight bone structure. He has the toughness and stanima but Calzaghe had those too plus the athletic attributes such as hand/footspeed, angle of punch and a great cheesy strategy.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: 'Calzaghe Lacys Froch worse than he Lacyed Lacy.'

 

As they like to say in Texas, Froch is "all hat and no cattle!"

 

Calzaghe spoiled a prime Kesslers work and convincingly out boxed him. Froch spent the fight on back foot losing to a faded Kessler. Thankfully your opinion and you scorecard hold no credibility here.

....and who are these older guys your refering to? Bhop RJJ? I'd put money on Bhop shcooling Froch if they met tomorrow.

Even CV, how do you get that? Calzaghe beat, Eubank, Reid, Woodhall, Mitchell, Brewer, (undefeated) Lacy, Bika, (undefeated) Kessler, (undefeated) Veit, Sheika, Starie, Hopkins, and a faded but still in the top 10 Ring LHWs Jones.

The era isnt weaker, its just that the super 6 has got fighters better known to the public

 

Wow your card is as bad as the 2 belguim guys who gave kessler 9-3 and 8-4. No way froch won 8 rounds and no way kessler did either. Take them nuthugger glasses off and look at the heads snapping back.

Froch's KO vs taylor was unimpressive. His gift win against dirrell was more unimpressive. His loss to kessler was more impressive to me because he showed that he could be a bit more versitile. The knock was that Kessler showed that froch can be slowed down by a body attack.

I had it 7-5 for kessler and could have lived with a draw or 7-5 win for froch. Still he would get whipped by Joe C and BHOP.
