Calzaghe: "thats why i didn't fight Pavlik"

Perhaps he did correctly predict the way the fight would go, but what about the dellusional comments after Haye sparked his man into next week? Calzaghe snr never gave an ounce of praise & in thre end, came across as a very sore loser indeed.

If Joe loses to Jones, it will be interesting to see what Enzo Calzaghe says? Calzaghe should beat Jones comfortably in my view though!

 

He can't stand Hopkins because of the lack of respect he showed before and after their fight.

 

The Pavlik fight was a live one that should have been made - there is no getting away from it, Joe chose at the time what he thought was the easier option - easier money fight.

Just because Hopkins beat Pavlik does not mean Joe does. I have always thought that Joe would beat him but never simply because Hopkins did. Pavlik beat Taylor twice - who beat Hopkins twice - styles make fights.

no unlike Pavlik, Joe has always been 100% focused on his next opponent, Loew didnt help Pavlik either every week he was saying stuff about Calzaghe like it was Joe who was gonna be in the ring with Kelly. I think they thought they had an easy night instore with Hopkins with a big paycheck to top it off

 

bad comment about waiting for Jones "39 year old legs" to get tired. Not the best way to make it sound like a serious fight.
