Hey lot, don't take this thread seriously, I don't even remember making it. And I'm paying for it now.
Right! That's what I'm missing here.:yep :good Oh man Sues, what a ****ing night, just fan-tastic.:smoke
Eubank was shot and got beaten around for 12 rounds. Were that a prime Eubank, he'd have gotten more credit.
Glen Johnson Clinton Woods Antonio Tarver Montell Griffin Anthony Mundine Do I need to keep going? All these would be better than MANY/MOST of the people on his resume now. And this was just off the top of my head. He also could have had a MW move up (plenty do on a regular basis)... Again, this wasnt a negative post....it was truth. To think he fought everyone he could have in and around his weight class is rubbish. Plain and simple. And I LOVE Calzaghe...but that doesnt make it not true.
Eubank was not shot you cretin. After Calzaghe he went 22 hard rounds with The Cat fighting two weights above his natural weight. This is not something that a 'shot' fighter would be capable of doing.
They're all Light Heavies sans Mundine (who got beat by Kessler) and Johnson (later became a LH) who was not remotely a name when he was fighting at 168. Cazlaghe beat everyone who was anyone at 168 sans Ottke who he would have reamed anyway and Jones who wanted to fight men with bigger names.
You really dont know boxing. At least thats how it looks from your last two posts. One - Eubank was HALF the fighter he was in his prime when Joe beat him (how was he AFTER Joe...0-2 before retiring...that aint a prime fighter brotha). I BTW still count this as Joe's best "performance"...but not his best win. Its what made me a fan of him. Next, all of those fighters fight ONE weightclass above him...or have fought at SMW before. Do some research. And are you telling me that for the money he/they could have made the others weigtclass for a fight? Fact is, many great fighters move up or down...or make others do such...to build a legacy. Joe never did this. Im not knocking him for it...nor am I praising him for it. Again, to say he fought everyone he could have is a fallacy. And again, this is coming from a Calzaghe fan....face facts bro.
