Calzaghe is great than Leonard etc. He wouldn't lose to an outsized midget like Duran on an off day. Calzaghe is the greatest winner in the modern history of the sport. Even Mayweather may have lost to Castillo when he was injured.

I gotta give the guy who made this thread a lot of credit. He has a lot of guts. He knew he would get criticized for making it, but still had the guts to do it because he really believes it.

His fighter is undefeated, and looks like he will never be defeeated. Calzaghe also has never won controversially like others I know of. Hes had no doubt about wins in all of his fights. What other fighter can say that? That is something that everyone should really ponder before slamming this threadmaker.

Duran was far superior to Calzaghe.

Hopkins shoulve won, If Calzaghe wasn't undefeated the judges wouln't have favoured him, yes I saw the fight and hopkins had nothing left after the 9th round or so but he won all the early rounds and made Calzaghe look extremely foolish, If anybody can't see that Hopkins age got the better of him they must be sniffing some really good ****, Hopkins in his prime destroys Calzaghe just like he did in this fight until age caught up, 12 rounds to nothing scorecards something like 119-106

Whats your point? Look at the thread title. It doesn't say SMW.

Lights out would've made him look foolish and womanly. Also super middle is by far and away probably the least talented division in the whole boxing history, to think Calzaghe only held 1 title for so long and didn't even try to unify the division until like 10years or so just shows me he has no heart and was avoiding the tough challenges, Even he should know he wasn't even in anybodys top30 p4p fighters till he beat Lacy

Calzaghe clearly won their fight. Get a clue. Hopkins dropped him in the opening round and did well for the first few rounds, whereas he didn't do a damn thing in the second half of the fight but get outworked. Calzaghe won about 8 rounds to 4 with a 10-8 round in favor of Hopkins. 115-112 for Calzaghe.

hopkins was making him look silly and theres no doubt in mine and most reasonable boxing fans prime hopkins with the workrate, better offense, dirty/slick skills would shut out calzaghe 12-0 rounds

Prime Hopkins knocks him out within five rounds.

For the first round and was winning on clean punching for a few of the early rounds before gassing and getting outworked the rest of the fight.

 Yeah, that's obviously the reasonable conclusion, given that both fighters were past their primes and Calzaghe won their past prime bout fair and square. I'd take Hopkins in a close Decision prime for prime as well, but it's not out of the question that Calzaghe wins.

Behave yourself will you. People forget that Calzaghe is way over his prime also.

Prime for Prime its a good matchup but Calzaghe > Hopkins always.
