Why should I care about Calzaghes legacy, when its' only a handful that cares about theirs? And Hopkins or RJJ are not one of them.

    Excuses for what?

No, they don't. Recently there's been experimentiation with 2 a.m broadcasts to suit US audiences but it mauls UK audiences, and I don't know how affective it's been. American buys, conversely, are hurt by middle-of-the-night starts. This is something you have made up.

And when was the last superfight in Europe involving a US fighter that was broadcast to the US? For your comparison?

If Joes didn't want the biggest fight to happen, why did he fight Ruiz, Toney and Hopkins? Why fight Hill?

If Hopkins didn't want the biggest fights why did he fight Oscar? Why did he fight Trinidad, Jones, Glen Johnson?

There were loads of big fights to be made by these men in the US, so they were able to stay there, and their legacies are impressive because of this. Calzaghe was cursed with second class opponents consistantly because he didn't seek out the best in the country that puts on the best fights.

    This isn't hard.

A European fighter has to travel to prove himself. An Amercan fighter doesn`t. It`s not double standards being applied...........it`s economics!!!!:lol::lol:

    They lost.

Joe Calzaghe is unbeatable, at any level, any weight until he is 40 at least.

Yes. That's right. What is your problem here? Exactly? I'm not making this up - Lennox Lewis goes to the States at the crucial point. To face the best and make more money. Hatton. Buchanan. There's a list. What, you think I'm making it up?

But what about proving you can win outside your comfort zone? What about legacy, which is supposedly so important on this board?? Economics is the #1 thing??

The best of all times I believe.

It is genuinely difficult to argue against it, with any concrete facts as the man simply has never looked like losing despite facing the very best 168ers of his era (minus Jones), despite hand injuries and despite english judges out to get him.

He's been undefeated for a very long time. Not a huge fan of his slapping style though but I give him props for the long title reign

It's an economic reality that American fighters and top fighters based in America who are not American will not travel to Wales to fight Calzaghe. So if Calzaghe wishes to prove he can win outside his comfort zone and add to legacy he has to travel, probably.

This has pretty much been proven.

You need to stop putting " " at the end of each post. It makes you look really ****ing stupid when you are actually failing to understand what is being said to you.
