I have seen 2 videos on youtube, I did not need to see anymore to be honest.

I also look at how every other sport has progressed in 50-100 years. They weren't even boxers as we know them for the most part.

Joe Calzaghe is shot and deserves to be lower than #2. They came around way to late. He was P4P#1 2000-2006 ish, now the lower in the top 10. They are all idiots and overrate Joe Calzaghe.

You don't know the sport, just admit it. You've seen two videos on youtube, what kind of bull**** is that.

Your argument that Langford's era was weak because he could move threw so many divisions is also bull****.

Floyd Mayweather went from 130lbs to 154lbs, Roy Jones went from 160lbs to heavyweight, Manny Pacquiao went from 112lbs to 135lbs, James Toney went from 160lbs to heavyweight, all 4 of them in Calzaghe's era. Langford's era was one of the best in the sport's history, and Langford took on the absolute best fighter from lightweight to heavyweight, beating the vast majority of them, making him a top 5 P4P fighter all-time, and anyone who knows anything of the sport will tell you the same. How about the other great Welsh fighters, Jimmy Wilde, Jim Driscoll, and freddie Welsh, all of whom were far greater than Calzaghe.

All of your arguments have been proven pointless and your lack of knowledge about boxing has been exposed, face it.

    I'm done with you.

OK, please tell me who Joe Calzaghe defeated in the 5 year period 2000-2005 that would have justified him being p4p#1. Please.

Even if that were true about Bhop.....That just makes what Joe accomplished in his career even more empty. If Bhop had a terrible career with guys like Trinidad, Hoya, Jones, Joppy, Taver, Holmes, Echols ect...Then Joe isn't getting any respect b/c he only has Bhop on his resume.

It isn't about who he he beat, it is who he could have beat.

Joe Calzaghe assumed resume looks like this:
    Kessler
    Veit
    Mitchell
    Shieka
    Woodall
    Reid
    Eubank
    Hopkins
    Jones
    Toney
    Pavlik
    Taylor
    Collins
    Woods
    Tarver
    Johnson
    Ruiz
    Valuev
    Mormeck

If Joe Calzaghe had just been in the right place at the right time and the right nationality his resume would look like the above, he would be undefeated and the greatest ever. As things are though he is just the best ever and a top 10 great based on dominance. I admit Sugar Ray Robinson is greater, but not as skilled. Calzaghe is still greater than Willie Pep mind. The assumed resume says it all.

What does this even mean?!?!!?! Has everybody in this forum gone ****ing insane today?! WHY are we rating an IMAGINARY RESUME?!?!?!?!!?

    T
This is the most damning indictment of Joe Calzaghe's career: his fans actually have to make up a good resume for him to prove he was great.

    Tragic.
