    Exactly.

And Jeff was a 21 fight novice, who has since struggled in three decisions, and has now decided to retire.

So he fought **** all until arguably his last 2 fights, one against Kessler, the other against a 43 year old Bernard Hopkins.

He defended an IBO belt for 10 years, big deal.

    Sorry, I meant WBO.

Are you serious or are you just a big Joe CAl fan? Well everyone is entitled to their opinion, I honestly cant rank someone who never left thier hometown but only 5 or less times the best of the last 25 yrs. I could honestly tell you he isnt even in the top 8

So can you honestly rank anothr super middle above Joe ? You would be in the minority if you feel Joe's place at the division was not deserved !

Would have an argument had Calzaghe had taken on stiffer opposition when both he, and they were younger. Very unfortunate for him he had very few fighters better than old or ordinary to defeat on his resume. Quite a good fighter, I think he would be top 15 in the last 25 years.

Maybe not because all the other guys who fought there passed it up to fight light heavy where the action was at. I could however rank many bantam, welters, middle, feather, heavy and light heavys above joe.

Im sure u could there are so many legends at every other wieght class ..But whats your point I would rank Roberto Duran over Joe all time but thats not saying much ..At super middle its hard to find a fighter as good as Joe in that divsions outside of RJJ .

Rediculous. Like saying an American footballer/soccer player, could be the best by just playing soccer in the states and never competing in any international venues. Fact of the matter is, a good portion of the best boxers in the world have been from the states in the last 25 years. To be quite honest, after the way the Mclellan fight went down, and the history of Germany and boxing, its amazing Championship fights are even allowed outside of the U.S. As corrupt as the U.S. is, some OTHER nations put us to shame.

Hate to break it to ya, but this guy is claiming that Joe is the greatest fighter AT ANY WEIGHT DIVISION over the last 25 years.

Like *******s, it's these guys that get people disliking Joe, a good fighter no doubt, but not HALF of what his fans claim him to be.

Why do people take everything litterally on here? The guys listed above might have not left the country to fight , but are you telling me the best go to fight and achieve their dream in Wales? Of course not mman many fighters have "made it " when they come to the states and fight. Anyway there are other fighters beside the ones listed above i would rank over Joe. Trinidad,Barrera,Morales, Chavez, Arguello,Nelson,Lewis, Whitaker, finito Lopez, Hagler, Hearns, Pac do I still have to keep going?

That may be a little extreme ..If this was just at super middle yeah but at any weight division in the last 25yrs ??He's clearly starting trouble ..No one with any real boxing savey would even agree to that ..Especially over the likes of Jones ,Whitiker ,Chavez etc etc ..

what the **** are you on about - Mr "Impossible to please"

he fought no-one until his last 2 fights?

    Charles Brewer
    Sakio Bika
    Chris Eubank
    Jimenez
    Jeff Lacy
    Robin Reid
    Bryon Mitchell
    etc
    etc

all considered world class fighters - some world belt holders at some point

    these are world class wins

the likes of Hokpins and Keelser are super fights that come along only a few times in a fighters career

Hopkins and Keelser and Roy Jones and Tyson and any other modern great had plenty of easy less than super opponnets filling out their record too

not every fight a fighter has is going to be for the Undisputed Welterweight Title against Oscar De La Hoya in Las Vegas on pay per view in a career high pay day

get real - MR 'IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE"

i can't stand pricks like you

    fought no-one

Calzaghe W UNA 12 Charles Brewer - thats a world class win you ****ing idiot
