Can't you accept that he's made a strong case for greatest super middleweight ever without blowing it out of proportion?

    :thumbsup Nice post.

And MAN does this get me more than ANYTHING about boxing fans... How some people have the AUDACITY to defend a very weak resume, and then turn on their side and SOMEHOW try to downgrade Floyd's resume.

    :scaredas:

Floyd's resume is greater than Calzaghe's, moreso than a top 10 EVER p4p has a greater resume than Floyd.

    I stand by that whole-heartedely.

    Top 10 vs. a top 35.

    Top 35 vs. a top 150.

    Do the math.

He ain't a top 35. And Calzaghe is top 100. So yeah, pretty much bull**** overall, but not unexpected.

In a Calzaghe nut-hugger point of view, which means zilch to me.

So yeah, still - stand by it.

In a Mayweather nut-hugger point of view, which also means zilch to me

I'm glad. I would HATE if my point of view meant something to a Cal nut-hugger.

I don't even know who you are, so its not the biggest blow of my day. I dropped some yoguhrt on the floor, that would rank above it right now

Get an avatar, a nice picture of Mayweather would be reflective :good

I'll pass on the avatar thing. I'd rather fanboys like you to not know me, and the few posters who do know what their talking about, to only acknowledge me when I begin to debate with them (or against them, either or).

You say it's not the biggest blow of your day, but I can read you easier than a picture book... even on a message board. So sorry for hurting your feelings.

I knew your dumb ass read picture books

We'll get onto the words next week. After that we'll make a little manual entitled "how to hug Mayweather's balls effortlessly without building up a sweat" to check your progress :good

Have a nice evening, watching the man your boyfriend ran a mile from. Should be a good one.

Yeah, a guy in his early 20's wouldn't read picture books. But a MAN with a family, might.

And you think that makes ME dumb... No "emoticons" required. Just a "lol".

If you think I hug Mayweather's balls as much as you do Calzaghe's, whatever. THIS thread right here is a Calzaghe thread, where you agreed (or said good post) to the OP who said that Calzaghe is the best fighter at any weight division of the last 25 years... Don't go around pretending to be Amsterdam and like to say things as a wind up, cause your not him. And it doesn't work.

Which makes you a nut-hugger. Plain and simple.

All I did regarding Mayweather in this thread, is REPLY to someone who compared their resumes. Mayweather is AT WORST a top 50 atg, I have him between 30 and 35. Calzaghe is not a top 100 yet, and if he retires after Jones, will never be... Their resumes are NOT comparable. So someone who bags out Mayweather for his resume, can't possibly try to defend Joe's. It's an oxymoron.

It's just how it is. Sorry bud.

You seem pretty wound up actually with that ranting :yep

I love how Mayweather is this or that conclusively, and Calzaghe is not top 100 yet conclusively. This is true nuthugging as an artform. A number of posters have Calzaghe top 100, and no they aren't all nuthuggers which you like to take comfort in, such is your denial.

So no, what you state as an opinion is not "how it is", especially when you read picture books.

Okay - whether or not Joe's top 100 or not (that wasn't the point of my post - it was an emphasis, or perhaps even a LITTLE over-exaggeration), to point out that it doesn't make sense for someone to downplay Floyd's resume and defend Joe's - if there's not a single person who really knows what their talking about, who would rate Joe over Floyd on any p4p (or atg) list.

No, but that wasn't what I was initially picking up on. It was your statement that Mayweather's resume is closer to a top 10 ATG than Calzaghe's is to his own, which is complete toddle. One has to remember that even if you are ranked closer to 1 then 100, it does not neccessarily mean you are closer on anything other than a statistical level, Mayweather is not even close to them guys in actual resume comparison.

As a sidenote, I would have Mayweather being between 40 and 50 and Calzaghe between 90-100. It's really not that unreasonable, considering the amount of avoidance Mayweather has done, and Calzaghe's relatively weak resume by these standards.
