If the Yanks have been tamed so much then Joe, come back & fight Hopkins again! Calzaghe knows he would lose if he fought Hopkins again!
Well, seeing as how calzaghe has been sitting around with his face in a pile of fishscale for the last couple of months, and Hopkins is an active fighter, the outcome is pretty obvious.
He rematched both opponents and beat them very convincingly. Those losses dont hurt. All fighters can be beaten by the lucky punch, especially HWs. Look at Tyson Douglas.
and you believed the tabloid newspaper "The News of the World" that he said that about Lewis, i highly doubt it myself
He's British and undefeated, even if his record was worse than it already is he will get praise from the obviously desperate.
Sure, a middleweight ducked a super middleweight and it was the middleweight who was trying to make the fight happen, big ****ing deal. Years later and a far older and more shot version was the one trying to make the fight again, this time being the bigger man and strange enough it was way easier to make. You want a lesson in ":deal" check out how Hopkins cleaned out the middleweight division and became the undisputed champion for years before retirement holding every single major belt. Another good example is Roy Jones at light heavyweight. Compare that with Calzaghe cleaning up the super middleweight division fighting the likes of Kabariki Salem and Tocker "ATG" Pudwell. Oh I know, you will say belts don't matter and they're worthless anyway, sure thing. Of course that won't be the case when we're possibly discussing Lennox Lewis though, right? Off you go now, chimp.
I can't believe I'm quoting myself, but I can't understand why no Calzaghe fan except good Bailey has ever addressed these comments. Ever. And they've been posted many times. Its says a lot.
Hopkins is a cherry-picking disgrace who feasted on Blown-up Welterweight bums. His best win is against a Glass Jawed Tito Trinidad. He lost to a green Roy Jones who fought one-handed and lost to Jermain "No Intentions" Taylor, not once, but twice. :roflatsch We now know that Taylor had a despicable Chin all along. Calzaghe thrashed men his own size. Funny how you fail to mention the unification matches he won in style, in your deluded, hate-filled rant. atsch
there are so many contradictions in your post i literally wouldn't know where to start. you must be a 10 year old american who watches hbo and reads ring magazine every day :rofl brain washed and delusional spring to mind :nut :rofl
Calzaghe is a dick head. He ducked fighters in their primes and spent his whole career slapping bums. Jeff Lacy is his only impressive victory to me. It's not to say that he wasn't talented - but his record is dysmal due to his own personal reluctance to fight the best.
