Im not sure Joe will fight him even if he wins the Super 6. He really doesnt like the guy, and i dont see him wanting to lose his record against some1 younger and hungrier. No way Froch steps up in weight to fight him, and no way Joe makes SMW, unless he carries on with his coke habbit :D

Despite being undefeated at 46 and 0, he doesn't get the respect or adulation that he feels he deserves. IMO this is justified because his resume is not great, but he must be feeling pissed off seeing Froch in the super six, and Froch has been running his mouth even more than usual too, like he can't get Calzaghe off his mind (Dude probably screams Calzaghe's name when he's doing the thing with his girl). Then there is the cocaine thing, he lost respect cuz of this, he got his ass owned on strictly come dancing and his promotional business failed. To top it off, every Saturday in his Sun column, Frank Warren slags him off (some of that **** is funny though). That's why I can see him making a comeback, to make sure he's remembered for being a great boxer rather than a dude with a padded record who stayed in Wales, beat up on old dudes, couldn't dance and became a coke user. I can see him coming back to shut everyone up and prove himself. His ex was in the paper recently talking bout how he felt he didn't get the recognition he thought he deserved.

Super Six doesn't finish for ages. Calzaghe isn't getting any younger and won't wait that long.

After fighting Grandpa Popkins and Roy Jones Snr the only fight out there for slappy Joe is Valero - Calazaghe is convinced that even in his current dead state he is a very live and dangerous opponant. Must be the coke talking!

How is Calzaghe doing financially? Any costly divorces or maybe bad investments?

I doubt he comes back unless he is desperate for money.

very true. if froch beats kessler that might be enough to warrant a fight, the problem is froch is not an attraction, and that is a huge problem. i think calzaghe will come back if the money's right, and i've always said. offer him 15-20 million, and he'll snap it, but froch is not the sort of person at the moment that can generate that sort of interest.

this is carl froch. yes he's good, but he's not that good. he'll proabably lose to someone like ward, and even dirrell in a rematch.

He had a stint as a promoter, but sacked it in because he couldn't handle it. Apparently he made losses in his last show (according to the ever so honest and humble Frank Warren).

Guys Joe NEVER FOUGHT THE BEST when he was active, what the **** makes you lot think he is going to come back and fight anyone remotely good?
If he does come back then it will be to fight someone cack for a quick payday< a rant about how he is still undefeated bla bla and then he'll disappear again..
