Can you point me to any examples of Calzaghe 'dissing' Roy Jones during the time period you reference?

Don't be a fool. Joe knows (and so should you) that Kelly could very easily **** him up bigtime & he ain't gonna risk lossing that '0' in his loss column, which is so important to him. I'm not say JC is chicken, I'm just saying he knows what the negative results could be if he fought KP.

If he had opted for Pavlik, he would have been accused of ducking Jones.

 

well Joe himself has indicated why he wouldn't want to fight Pavlik. He says in the above article that he is afraid to lose his undefeated records which means the most to him.

 

Replace Pavlik with Chad Dawson and we'll agree.

 

joe did all he needed to do. he cleaned out 168 nuff said. Fighting pavlik would be great for us, but maybe not for joe. I am sure the dude is set financially so why bother? besides, kessler was a greater challenge than pavlik would have been.
