There is some heavy talk going around the industry that Joe Calzaghe is on the verge or has already signed with GBP .Those Familiar with the situation say the deal is similar recent agreements that GBP has made with 2 other UK fighters in Haye and Ricky Hatton where GBP would co -promote shows with Calzaghe's company Joe Calzaghe Ent.

This might be good news for hopkins because he may have another crack of beating the white boy.

He's doing it so he has more leverage for when he fights Kelly Pavlik after RJJ. And then he will retire.

I feel with him signing with golden boy he his trying to get to the magical 50-0but I feel that RJJ may actually beat him by a Split Decision. Oh to UK posters do u reckon the fight will be on setanta or will sky poach it for box office.

Yeah but I can't see oscar fighting Calazghe because it would have to be nearer 160 than 175 and I believe calzaghe will be unable to get down to middlweight.

I feel that calzaghe will finish is career at 175, because I think 168 getting tough for him now.
