    Calzaghe beating Lacy.

Abraham had been ' exposed ' previously by Dirrell.

I'll go with Froch's win, since I consider Abraham better than Lacy. If Artur is able to come back from this and score an impressive victory or two, it would be more clear-cut.

Two great performances though and Joe was mesmerising that night.

Toss up. Both were as one sided as you can get.
But Lacy had something BEAT out of him that night.

I got to go w/Joe's win over "Left Hook"

I'll be the first to admit I picked AA to beat Froch.
(So maybe I'm still a bit bitter, Ask me next week) ;)

Froch over Abraham. I was very impressed by the way Froch boxed Kesler and now this dominant performance against a very good opponent. Lacy was never a good fighter for me

I cant believe I'm siding with Sloppy Joe.... but Calz-Lacy was a more impressive performance.

Calzaghe took Lacey to school and after that fight, he was never anything like the same fighter.. even though he was another American hype job.

JC landed a ton of clean hard shots on Lacy. Much more dominant. Keep in mind also that Lacy was thought to be the best 168 pounder in the world at the time. Sure, he wasn't anywhere close, but that fight was a much bigger shock, to me at least.

Schooling an undefeated hypejob SMW champion vs schooling a once-beaten hypejob MW champion that climbed up to SMW....

Gonna have to go with Calzaghe. The highlight reel of that fight was much more enjoyable as well since Calzaghe fought outside, inside, middle. Froch had to stay disciplined not to get manhandled by Abraham up close.

Calzaghe clowned an unbeaten, dangerous fighter.

Froch beat a fighter who had already been schooled in his previous fight, although he was dangerous.

    Look at all the facts.

    1. Who people expected to win -
    Froch - Abraham - was considered a 50/50 fight
Calzaghe - Lacy - Lacy was picked by most experts to win

    2. Previous fight
Froch - lost UD to Kessler
Abraham - lost DQ 11 to Dirrell
Lacy - win KO 2 Pemberton
    Calzaghe - win UD Ashira

    3. Who Lacy and Abraham had beaten
Lacy - R Williams, Pemberton, Sheika, Reid
    Abraham - Miranda, Taylor, Eastman

    4. Who Abraham and Lacy had lost to
    Abraham - Dirrell
    Lacy - undefeated

I think due to the fact that Lacy was an undefeated big punching SMW, it holds the edge over Froch beating a former MW puncher who lost his last fight SMW.

Neither Abraham or Lacy have great resumes, but both Froch and Calzaghe scored very good decisive wins over them respectively

Calzaghe for me. I bet on Calzaghe to beat Lacy and bet on Froch to beat Abraham, but I was more comfortable betting on a big SMW to beat a small former MW.

Still as said, both good wins

As a further note. Abraham was being clearly schooled in his previous fight, by a fighter Froch had already beaten

    Calzaghe, by a significant amount.

Lacy was touted as the future of the division.

He was the #3 ranked guy at the weight, by a paper thin distance behind Kessler. Abraham was rated #7.

Lacy was proven at the weight, Lacy was a champion at 168, what's AA done at SMW?

Lacy was undefeated, AA was comin in off of a loss.

Calzaghe was the much older fighter against a PRIME supermiddle (34 vs 28), Froch was fighting a 30 year old middle.

AA at 168 was 1-1, Lacy was 21-0 with only 4 opponents going the distance.

    Lacy was a bloody mess.
