Funny thing is, for such a "protected" fighter he was booked to fight Steve Collins in his 23rd fight.

At that time there is no boxer in the world that would have had an easy night with Steve, RJJ included.

People are sometimes hard on Calzaghe because there was a stage when he was seemingly continuing on a meaningless meander through super middleweight's nearly men. However, he also fought a very high level of competition and tonight, he will add Hopkins to his resume and remain undefeated.

Dont analyse this nonsense mate, even though youre right.
The pillar of these posters argument is that if youre European you are inherently limited, protected, and well, just not American ,really.

They'll deny it,but thats about it really.Someone like Paul Malignaggi getting a title shot after about 20 nothing fights because hes from New York and wears make-up.?Well thats ok isnt it?But Kessler, from Europe, whats he done?35 fights before he even got his title shot, but hes untested because he didnt beat enough overrated yanks who get title shots after 15 bloody fights.
    Utter bull****.
