Hold up. Andrade is getting better. He looked better tonight than he has in his previous three fights (although Andrade didn't look bad before). I see a little more patience and improved timing with his punches. To say Andrade has a higher chance of losing to Mudine, Bika and Froch is a bit of a stretch.

I may just have to do that. I know he takes Andrade over Pavlik....but I can't say I completely disagree with that one. That would be one helluva fight imo

not Mundine...Mundine could't hurt Andrade...Andrade stops Mundine before the 7th round...

But Bika and Froch...they would look like **** for 12 rounds, but they would see the final bell and if the judges are kind, they would win a close decision...

A prime Calzaghe would shut out Andrade, no doubt...it would be 120-108 UD from all three judges...

...but the Calzaghe that beat Kessler...:-(

As Amsterdam says, pirme Calzaghe TKOs the Calzaghe who beat Kessler...so...Andrade would have a decent chance too, in the final two rounds...Of course, it would be the most motivated and best Andrade ever...giving his all in there...

whats with all this "just ask Amsterdam" business?

I've seen how good he is.

I cant help thinking that you are propping up Andrade in time for when he fights Bute in the near future and gets beaten :yep

The Calzaghe who beat Kessler i prime - apart from his hands not being as good as earlier he was just fine versus Kessler. Kessler just made him look human most of the time.

As for Andrade-Calzaghe ... Calzaghe will handle Andrade's pressure with relative ease and win 120-108. Calzaghe doesn't have to keep Andrade away with his jab - he also has his footwork going for him. But there is nothing to warrent such a fight. Andrade earned the right to fight Bute (which will be interesting) - if he beats Bute, then a rematch with Kessler... Calzaghe will be retired by the time Andrade can earn a shot (which he wouldn't because he wouldn't get past the rematch with Kessler)

Kessler cant stop Mundinem but beats Andrade easier than everyone else but Andrade stops Mundine within 7 with his slow ass wide looping punches :huh

I kow your logic with the styles matchup but i dont agree, Mundine is waay quicker has better defence than both Kessler and Joe.

    Bute UD Andrade :lol::deal

Yeah...footwork and everything else, as I said...

Superficially, you would say Calzaghe would love Andrade because he comes forward and Calzaghe can just counterpunch him to death, swarming him and moving away...doing to him what he dd to Lacy...

...and he would too! But then, IN THE LAST TWO ROUNDS, the pressure would be too much for him. Andrade's bodyshots would grind him down and finish him...Enzo would have to throw in the towel...alas!

calzaghe loves these sort of fights.

he loves fighters who come onto him , but do not spoil, and it is always where he looks his best.

if you watch the brewer fight, v a known heavy puncher, calzaghe was content to stay in the pocket for nearly the whole 12 rounds , even though he could have easily outspeeded brewer from the outside, because he was enjoying the fight so much on the inside.
he got off with so many combinations that in at least 5 rounds brewer was stumbling around disorientated, not able to keep up.

calzaghe`s body language /attiutude in those sort of fights looks like he is really enjoying himself like someone who has just scored a try or goal / calzaghe simply loves a tear up, even if it means negating his boxing skills sometimes if he feels in control.

how many boxers 11-0 rounds up would have come out against a puncher in the last rounds , looking to trade bombs as calzaghe did with lacy and kessler

IMO i think andrade and calzaghe would put on a very good spectacle of a fight, little clinching and huge ammounts of punches thrown, but calzaghes hand and footspeed, plus the ammounts of combinations calzaghe puts together , blinds his opponents , as calzaghe in these types of fights has his gloves in his opponents face non stop, and its not as if he will slow down or get arm weary from this kind of fight.

a fight i would like to see and although after kessler did a real number on andrade that calzaghe could not top and would get little credit for it, it would be a great showcase of his talents and skills.

Mundine's reflexes and speed will count for little against Andrade's pressure. Andrade would look like a Duran against Mundine, who is certainly no SR Leonard...:-(

And Bute, well, he will either lose his title on purpose so as not to have to fight Andrade in the mandatory, or he will end up fighting Andrade and lose, bravely...

    ...poor Lucian!:| :-(

    ;)

I was just having a laugh with the boys, sean, as it's Easter and all!

    Happy Easter, everyone! :)

I was hoping that Amsterdam would come in and get really angry with me...:rofl

He has been hyping up Andrade like crazy around here!:-(

Andrade is tough and strong and has much heart, but he is COMPLETELY the wrong style for Calzaghe and could not hurt him even if they fought 15 rounds...

And Amsterdam should drop this Andrade will beat Bute nonsense too! It's getting old. Andrade will give him the hardest fight of hi career so far, if Bute remains unbeaten to face him, but Bute is just too good to lose to Andrade.:deal

    Calzaghe UD 120-108 Andrade

    Bute wide UD Andrade

    :good

Oh, and before I forget, and I am serious about this:

    Andrade TKO 10 Mundine.:deal

    (It's just a styles thing, teke, mate...):good
