Bute nuthuggers need to remember their man didn't actually step up and join the tournament so they can forget about any 'painful schooling' of Froch for a year or so.
Yeah, you're right, he was scared to death of making money and prefered not to join the tournament atsch He was never invited because of Showtime's budget, do you really think he DID NOT want to join the tournament? :-( You are pathetic, think with your ****ing brain. At this level no one is afraid of no one like you seem to think, it's all a question of money and management. But again you're probably to dumb to figure this out yourself. :-(
i have to say this one is comfortably calzaghe's. until i see more out of bute, they are just on different levels talent wise
Bute reminds me of Reggie Johnson. Johnson was a southpaw who like to use angles and throws combos, similar to what Bute does, although I think Johnson is a better boxer during his hayday.
I just don't understand the point of those people calling him poor man's Calzaghe? Maybe one of these sheeps saw it once and now they are all writing that? Seriously someone please answer what's their similarities in style except being southpaws and being fast handed?
What you got to say sir? I just explained the situation to this dumb****, and being the ****** he is he just says "Enjoy Bute Bika II or whatever shite fights he has to line up after Andrade, asuming he wins.", is that not pure hate against the fighter, what has he raped his kids?? What kind of reply is that :huh Like he's responsible... Seriously I don't ****ing care and don't pick Bute to win everywhere, and when watching the fight live against Andrade I thought it should've been stopped, but the decision of the referee after analyzing points is okay.. But to just observe the pure hate and nuthugerry of some people is sickening.
Damn. You can always depend on common sense and reason to ruin a good slanging match! I don't dislike Bute (i'd like to see him in against some better competition but that isn't likely for a while now) but he hasn't earned the right to be likened to Calzaghe (even a poor man's Calzaghe). Neither has Froch, but his style is so entirely different it doesn't invite a comparison. The next few months should give us a better insight into each fighters capabilities or conversely their limitations, hopefully with as few avenues for excuses as possible. That's my hope anyway. Also, abusing other posters isn't necessary. The fighters are fair game but calling someone dumb**** and ****** is going a bit too far. Take a chill it's only boxing!
Fair comments! :good But like you said, Bute should not be compared, at least for now, to Joe, and Froch should not be put in the top spot at 168lbs before taking on a real top competition at 168lbs, not a faded middleweight.
that's the beauty of this tournament...it will clarify a lot and clean up the "mess" of 168 (which just happens to be the best division at the moment). The only shame is bute isn't involved but it instills him as #1 contender against the winner.
Yes this tournament is very cool but also a little bit weird, it should be like : Carl Froch Lucian Bute Mikkel Kessler Sakio Bika Karoly Balsay and either Dirrell, Ward, Andrade or even Inkin Maybe they are not as popular but wtf Taylor and AA has done at 168lbs..?? And wtf with the bonus pts for a KO, so 2 KO worth more than 3 wins??? In boxing a win is a win...still interesting but still ****ed up big time!!! I guess moneytalk.....
It took Joe Calzaghe 43 fights before getting on HBO...It took Lucian Bute 24 fights...here is your answer...
