It was Roy`s forearm and Calzaghe dominated Roy while Jones was awarded his first fight v Tarver by the judges, Tarver just displayed more power than Calzaghe, he caught Jones with a good shot in the 2nd round after not much happened up till that.

It would have been a great fight....Joe's probably past his best at this point to be fair.

Peak Roy easily defeats Super Joe not the geriatric version Joe faced.

When Roy was the no.1 P4P fighter in the world, Joe was fighting Euro level fighters in the division below.

He actually was a champion in the amateurs at welter and Middle. Youre welcome.

Amateurs is irrelevant..that's like saying Usyk was a Middle.
    We're discussing Pro boxing...You're welcome..

His amateur record was better than him hiding out in his backyard fighting tomato can neighbours.

Who are all these people??? Feel free to use your search through time periods you weren't around. I mean, you won't, that's just a waste of time. But they are there. I agreed it's good.

Hardly he was unbeaten as a Pro....fought plenty of decent fighters from. Eubank. Reid. Sheika. Mitchell. Woodhall. Brewer. Bika. Lacy and Kessler. Where all belt holders either before or after fighting Joe.
If we take the top 3 of Kessler and Reid (both unbeaten at the time) Eubank. All three would easily walk through Gingers opposition at Super Middle. I would say the next three probably doing the same maybe dropping one...
    like I said there's levels.....

Sorry I might have misread your post...I thought you were talking about Joe then I realised that Ward far better fits your description....
    Thanks for playing...

    Reid was a good fighter.

I was a big fan of his back in the day.

    He wasn’t unbeaten though.

He lost either side of fighting Joe.

I think that Reid vs BJS would have been very interesting.

I completely forgot about Reid's earlier loss my bad... yeah Reid was good when he was on form but could be a bit inconsistent.
I likes BJS but only at Middle. I think a prime Reid might be a bit of a handful for him but it would be a good scrap though.

It's a waste of time because it is hardly a lot.
