this very possible as i know joe would like to finish his career with a home fight.
he said he aint going back down to smw.
so it looks like a dawson fight is on the horizon.
and for those who say dawson is fast and smart, calz is faster and smarter,so calzaghe wins this imo.

If he beats Jones then I think the Pavlik fight is more likely providing he beats Hopkins also.

Calzaghe wants nothing to do with Dawson, I'll tell you this now.

the chances for calzaghe fighting Trinidad or Oscar, are bigger then the chances of fighting dawson

I agree, I have nothing against Calzaghe but Dawson would be way too fast for him.

I think if Calzaghe does fight on and he isn't going to move down back to SM then he may fight Pavlik at LH.

I really can't see him fighting Dawson. A Pavlik fight would be easier and would probably get him more money and may actually be better for his legacy.

Calzaghe v Pavlik at Millenium stadium. I'm still pretty sure, that's where Calzaghe wants to sign off his career. Why woul he fight Dawson after all the crap between him and Pavlik? Assuming neither man ****s up in their next fight then this will be Calzaghe's farewell bout. Although, Dawson would be a harder fight and more significant win. But that's a fight that we'll be unlikely to see.

If Pavlik and Joe both win then that's the most likely fight to happen.

Dawson is arguably the tougher fight but the Pavlik one will make more money thats' for certain.

Pavlik vs Calzaghe is definately the more likely of the two. That fight is just perfect for Calzaghe as Pavlik will have to fight on his turf and at light heavy. If he doesn't carry his power well through the weight groups I would predict a Lacy style ass whoopin' occuring

Dawson isn't a big enough name to fight Calzaghe, no one in Britain gives a **** about Dawson.

Although i think Dawson would win easily.

Dawson would beat calzaghe in cardiff, the us, or even in outerspace
