Calzaghe v Dawson

He's chin isn't as bad as people make it out to be he has good recovery much like Cotto. He might go down but he recovers quickly see the Adamek and Harding fights for reference.

 

Not just that but if his chin was so spotty, a guy like Adamek would've starched his ass by now.

He made Adamek look C level....a testament to his skill.

 

I never thought I would ever debate anyone's opinion but that is ludacris ...

there is no way that those guys give Dawson any trouble ... a couple more title defenses I see Dawson reaching the elite status in the LHW division.

His confidence is high and he has reason to be hungry ... (married w/ a child and from humble beginings)

I'm pretty sure he would take any of those guys out given the chance to buy a house and have security for his wife and son.

 

His knockdowns were flash knockdown ... which could happen to anyone -- even those with granite chins.

He's only 25 and is in his second year as champion ... I think he's on route to be a great fighter in years to come.

Your a Dawson nuthugger. Try to be objective. Dawson is talented and up and coming but untested against elite level fighters.

 

Come on man Adamek was never C level. He was a solid B fighter.

 

yes against Harding ... but they both were flash knockdowns -- Dawson was never hurt and came back w/ no problems to win.

Tarver tripped over his tongue 35 times when Dawson's name was brought up.Milk Dud couldn't back peddle out of that conversation quick enough.

 

Chad Dawson, Zsolt Erdei and Adrian Diaconu are all operating at the same level and should arrange fights with each other before stepping up to Calzaghe or Hopkins.

Ducking him. The elite level fighters dont know who he is! Some paper champ who beat Adamek. Now hes fighting a washed up and shot Glen Johnson. Avoid at all costs!

 

I think a win over Glenn Johnson and a proposed fight w/ Tarver will bring RJJ ...

RJJ has been acting like he's going to fight at super middleweight to lure in Calzaghe or Taylor.

When he has an undefeated champion staring him in the face in Dawson.
