Tarver knew who he was...don't even give me that BS. Like Elvir Miriqui is a bigger name than Dawson is.

Tarver will Avoid at all costs because he knows what'll happen against Dawson.

Stop acting like Chad Dawson is scared of the elites when it's clearly the other way around.

Don't say that when Tarver couldve fought Adamek instead of Dawson... they are saying they don't know who he is because they don't want to fight him. Why do you think Tarver is fighting Woods?

Dawson is there and has been there for a couple of years ... Tarver knows Dawson beat Eric Harding (a guy that beat him) and he will soon possibly beat Johnson (another guy that beat him)

    Your words have been marked.

    The score was very low.

No one 160-175 "easily" beats Joe. No ****ing one.

Anyone who knows boxing would say it.

No one 160-175 would easily beat Hopkins or Kessler either. I just wont happen.

I'm from the US, and I'll say it.

There's no fighter 175 and under that beats Joe easily. None.

Not sure how it would go, I would have to favor Joe though.

Remember Hamed ... how people thought that Barrera was finished ... Remember PBF and how people thought that Hatton was going to beat PBF ... Remember that both were undefeated ... remember how both were hyped and highly reguarded as good champions ... remembe how both of them lost and went back to UK never to return ...

Hey ... i'm not making this stuff up ... it actually happened ... you can't change a pattern and you can't change history.

Its Calzaghe's destiny to lose and go back to the UK in shame ... Sorry fellas but i'm swayed that Hopkins will win.

This is the fight I would most like to see in the sport, but it probably won't ever happen.

If it did happen, I think Dawson would be a slight favorite in the United States. The advantage shifts if the fight is in the UK.

The fight wouldn't be one that would please casual fans, but those of us who follow the sport more closely would love it. It's almost a certainty that the quick reflexes and unorthodoxy of the two would hinder the offense of both fighters, lowering their workrate in the process.

The result of that is you are left with the bigger man, with a 3.5-inch reach advantage and more power, facing the opponent with greater experience.

I know where everyone wants to make this a fight about feet, but to me Calzaghe is bouncier yet less balanced. Chad typically -- excluding when he started posturing like a dumbass against Adamek prior to the KD -- doesn't square up or give his opponent much room to work, while Joe squares up frequently when throwing combinations.

With both fighters struggling to find rhythm, Dawson nips a decison based on the reach advantage and on his use of a steady jab. Again, not a bloodfest, but a hell of a fight between two guys who trouble each other greatly.

A decision either way wouldn't be a surprise, but a KO would be.

Prime Calzaghe would take him out though, people don't realise just how FAST he was. His footspeed is still intact, about 80%, but his hands were a blaze before and now they are just slightly above average in speed, but followed up by his still tremendous footspeed.

Calzaghe's footspeed is a lot quicker than Dawson's, even now, give the edge to Dawson in hands though.

Couple that with Calzaghe's prime punching power, a left hand bomb would land on Chad and put him on the ground, then Calzaghe would be swarming him.

Kessler could beat Dawson, I'd pick him.

Those accurate rights are something Dawson is particularly open to getting hit with.
