Bad style for Joe. Hearns loved the guys who sat back and he could pick them apart with his long reach and speed even at 168. I think Hearns winning a close UD.. And they would have a rematch and Joe might take that. Either way not a great fight, but interesting.. Two great fighters.

well we wont know how tough mitchell would have been, but yes i would guess hearsn would be a tougher task by a fair bit. Flooring joe more than once in round 1 might well transpire.

His offense was better because he threw faster combo`s, Hill was too predictable and jab happy, a boring fighter.

I rate him hugely at 154, well inside the top 10 at 147 and a very dangerous yet much more vulnerable middleweight. His main danger higher in weights was against big strong guys that could punch.

If he hit hard enough to drop and hurt Eubank he had more than enough power to stop Hearns.

Notice the words career ending fights, Joe wasn't at his best when he faced those two.

I will if you notice that he was fighting much older men while Joe was still at the least 98% at the top of his ..

I cant believe most are picking Hearns. Calzaghe before his hands went was a puncher too. Joe late tko. Arguably the best at 168 ever isn't losing to Hearns, no chance. He overwhelms him with accumulation late or a ud

"To unify all the belts and beat Mikkel, I knew it would be my last fight at super-middleweight because I had struggled with the weight," said Calzaghe.

"I had lost 36 pounds in 16 weeks to make weight for Kessler and even though I didn't feel 100 percent, it was my best fight."
