Since neither Brits and the B-Hop lovers aren't being real...a rematch would be exactly the same minus that flash knockdown. That means....Joe by a close, yet unamious decision. Though, honestly I doubt Joe will do it short of getting to play it out in Cardiff for his hometown fans to enjoy before he retires.

I'm not sure who would win a rematch, but I did notice how much better Hopkins looked last night after camp with Nazim Richardson back in a prominent role after having Freddie Roach for the Joe C. fight. Granted, Pavlik and Joe have different styles, but I wonder if getting Richardson back made a difference.

Hopkins footwork looked a whole lot better last night than it did in the Calzaghe fight and he didn't seem to have any stamina issues and he wasn't clinching a lot like he did against Calzaghe... It could've been due to not being hit that much by barely-mobile Pavlik, but I think this Hopkins could've edged a win against Calzaghe, but it would still be a close fight..

Not all Brits on ESB like Joe Calzaghe, I can think of two or three who can't stand the guy but still manage to be fairly objective. I agree with you that a rematch would be the result. And I really don't think it will happen because Joe and Bernard seems to really dislike each other, the first fight was a terrible clinch-fest, and for his farewell fight in Cardiff Joe will want to put on a show for the fans.
