calzaghe v jones 2 weight title fight

    i have just read that as the fight has been put off until november jones wants calzaghe and him to make 168 drink water a re-weigh for lhw so all calzaghe titles will be on the line.i never knew this to be possible but apparently leonard did this back some years ago.obviously jones has the feeling he can win.anyone else think this is mad?

    The cancelation of this fight has killed any interest I had built up for it.

    mehhh... i'd have to agree, but whatever... i cant say it was a fight i was waiting for, all fights this year are unimportant to me untill cotto-margarito has ended

    but back on topic......so roy jones gets 2 add another 2 titles to his resume i guess

    Just theatrics. The second weigh in isn't nessecary. As long as it is 'below' the limit it counts. So 168 and 168.1 are both below 175. Even I can do that math. :lol:

    You can come in at 150lb for a LHW fight if you want. Under the limit is the only thing that matters.

    Well if its in November it maybe in Vegas as a co- feature main event with hatton and mallinaggi. As Goldenboy are trying to sign JC.

    It won't be for any proper SMW or LHW titles anyway. What's wrong with a good old non-title fight? Why does it have to be for some Micky Mouse strap?

    Well all the belst Joe owns at super middle is far from a micky mouse strap ..Who cares if it non title or title I just hope to see a good fight ..
