I will pick Jones to win over Joe easy but I think Joe will beat Jones now. But Joe will not Tko Jones for he hits like a *****. He only have 1 real KO all the others are ref stoppages. Jone got good chin at supermiddle and light heavy somewhat. No way slapping joe will put Jones to sleep or stoppage.

He'll easily stop him by accumulation of punishment, not likely by straight KO though.

The ref would stop it resulting in a TKO. :good

This is tough really. Joe will be the best fighter Jones has ever fought, and jones will be the best fighter that joe has ever fought. Im Thinking a SD for Calzaghe.

Why not give it some analysis? Jones has fought fighters on Joe's level before, Joe has never fought anyone close to Jones's level.

Based on styles, Jones nullifies Calzagh'e strengths completely. His own speed(slightly of foot, largely of hand) takes away Joe's advantage, and his counter-punching and power would take away from Joe's workrate and aggression.

Calzaghe has not been hit by any fighter like Jones would hit him , and let face it Joe run into a lot of shots. Bryron Mitchell power is not on Rjj level .. IMO

Roy would not let Joe off the hook like Byron did.. Rjj at 168 was dame near un-hittable

Not to mention mentally. RJJ would have the pysch battle won by the time round 4 comes around. RJJ mind ****ed more fighters than anyone I can remember. How will Calz respond to a guy whose faster than him, more powerful than him and is dancing around showing off through his punches?

I doubt Joe can even tko a out of prime jones. Jones is elusive. Joe can got at most a 3 slap combo. Jones gets in trouble hard hitters.

Two of my favourite fighters, but I could honestly say that Roy was at least two levels above the boxing capabilities of Joe. Bad match up really.

MOST? There are quite a few Jones fans in this thread......and nearly every single one of us (but one) said Calzaghe would win the fight right now.
