Pavlik would destroy Slappy, he is better off chasing old finished fighters like RJJ.

I want to see him end Pavlik's career. Even a faded Joe would be too much for the hype job that is Pavlik.

No way a dude named "Kelly" beats the JC. :nono

Pavlik is the most one dimensional fighter i've seen in years but that one dimension gives guys fits Id love to see him force Joe into a fight.

Both fighters want the fight & it probably will happen. I don't think JC has the power to worry Roy but his workrate will be too much for the once great RJJ. It will be interesting early as Roy's hand speed is still better than hopkins & hopkins was able to catch JC early albeit a flash KD, he still got the punch through. Pavliks got good power but I'm afraid thats it. He will want to steer clear of Abraham thats for sure, who I believe is the man to beat at 160!

Yeah , he knocks everyone out, not a bad " 1 " dimension to have.

Kegsy he took miranda's best shots, had his jaw busted in 2 spots & still went on to win. The man has tonnes of heart & is as tough as they come. He's the most overlooked middleweight going around. and he has more than adequate power as well. I'm a fan of pavlik's, luv his attitude towards the fight game, always puts in the hard yards. But abraham is the real deal & simply wears fighters down. Abraham v pavlik is the best fight at 160 at present that no one talks about..

Agree with ya roscoe. Abraham is no joke and I have always rated him, I knew they were confident in him when they matched him against Nader so early.
I think Kegs probably means a sustained attack will bring him down, Miranda was to sloppy to hit him consistently. Pavlik's workrate and the way he gets power of seemingly nothing punches is impressive.
I think Pavlik can win that fight, I just think Abe sits back in his guard to much and waits to counter. He seems to be shunning his boxing skills and trying to bomb guys out more and more in every fight.
I dont think Kelly stops him but hurts him enough to send him into a shell for most of the fight.
But Kelly can be hurt and I think Abraham would be the biggest puncher he has faced and probably the best counter puncher.

Calzaghe vs Roy..Dont really want to see it but the way Warren has always matched Joe this is exactly the fight he would want him to go out on. Two modern day legends in a row, but modern day legends who arent a danger anymore. I think Joe wins a lot more clear than against Hops.

Calzaghe vs Kelly..Unless Joe turns superold overnight he cannot lose this one. Joe is a special fighter, who is flexible, versatile and has beaten a variety of styles over his career.
Pavlik just isnt that good. You have to sit back and look at why we like to watch him fight so much..because he is flawed. He is slow, plods and gets tagged a lot but he owns his weight and hits like a truck. Joe would be way to good and I reckon Kelly has less impact any higher thatn 160.

i think roy jones will beat calzaghe.

you saw what he done to trinadad. calzaghe hasnt got the power to hurt roy and he hasnt got a tight defense. so i reckon roy will be too quick and too slick for calzaghe.
he has never fought someone like roy's style.

ROY WOULD HAVE A FIELD DAY!!!

i like calzaghe. i was going for him all the way against BORING HOPKINS but i think if anyone is going to beat joe it will be roy...
