Hopkins lost to Taylor due to inactivity - something that Calzaghe would never lose a fight due to.

Tarver beat Jones by lucky shot KO - Calzaghe may have been caught early on by Tarver but he has a much better chin than Jones and far greater recuperative powers, so I think he would have come back to beat Tarver.

Johnson pushes the fight and is extremely active - a genuine pressure fighter - he's the only one I can see giving Joe problems, but I still think Joe's ability to adapt to any scenario in a fight would have seen him winning this fight also.

This is a good thread subject :yep

Jeez you're full of ****...who exactly does Floyd 'mold' himself on?

Floyd only fights guys from below his weight class and forces them to come up to a higher weight (JMM, Hatton), or retires whenever there are legitimate threats in his weight division.

Calzaghe unified SMW then moved up to LHW and beat the man in Hopkins and then towelled RJJ - obviously past his best but still an achievement to dominate him so easily. This version of RJJ just recently dominated Lacy and got endless props for doing so, yet Calzaghe thrashed a younger, unbeaten, uninjured, pre-surgery prime Lacy, yet apparently Lacy was just an overrated one-dimensional bum at that time.
