Having seen this video, I'm convinced Joe is planning an early night for the first time for a few years.

Were both those quotes about the same vid, or did I miss something in the few responses I missed?

I just cannot believe so many are reading so much in to a pissy 2 minute pad session. It means nothing, it gives no clues.

Yes, both about the same vid.

Joe is bulky, very bulky. I just don't see his stamina being the usual high levels in this fight. It almost looks like he hasn't trained very much. He's definately loading up on power and that to me, means one thing - he's going to go in there and try and wipe out Hopkins. Maybe even early. Joe's always talked of doing something spectacular in this fight, maybe that's his game. It's ****ing risky if it is but I don't know, this is like the Joe Calzaghe of old... the one that stops fights early, the heavy puncher.

If that's the case, he kind of plays Hopkins game.

Ahh okay, I got it. So you think Calzaghe perhaps looking for an early night means that Hopkins might have a chance? Or at least more than he did before

Truthfully i dont think Calzaghe needs to change much to beat Hopkins, for me personally PRIME 4 PRIME Calzaghe beats Hopkins.

I think Hopkins will try to make it a dirty fight, my only hope is that Cortez has a good night.

Hopkins has more of a chance than I thought he had before, assuming Calzaghe adopts the 'I'm going to blast this guy out and everyone will be in awe' mentality.

And I will be monumentaly pissed off if I don't get many rounds out of my $450 ticket.

    Calzaghe looks superfast...

But... why is Enzo standing in the southpaw stance all the time? Joe's hitting the mitts as he was to fight a lefty... The other thing: watching these vids (of course mainly Joe and his dad in the ring and not sparring) it seems they don't even care to prepare for Hopkins' awkward style, moves, sholder rolls, movement... Joe is looking for the KO as he throws bombs in the vid especially to the body. But then again, he's practicing to land a bodyshot on a lefty...

Anyone knows who were Joe's sparring partners?
