Please. You are saying Joe ran after calling Kelly out from a mercy standpoint? :rofl

It's quite touching that Boo and Hermit do actually really believe that JC sat watching Pavlik v Lockett thinking 'OMG if this is what he can do to a borderline top 5 British middleweight, what will he do to me?' :rofl:rofl

did pav call joe out? did he headhunt him in the press to make the fight happen?

if joe wanted to carry on he would have gone for a real challenge in dawson, i am glad he retired even tho anyone who knows anything about boxing knows he would have beaten pavlic, calzaghe is one of the most injury prone fighters you will see.

you cant fight everyone, everyone knows mayweather would beat cotto despite the fight not happening just as everyone knows calzaghe would beat pavlic. i think your your support for pavlic is blinding your judgement

This whole thread is based on a mischaracterization of something I said in another thread by a thread ***** looking for support. Have you read it all? Better question, did you understand the points?

While that is funny and I know you meant for the "over dramatized" a bit there, there's no question it gave Enzo a very close look at who they'd be dealing with.....then just so happens the "calling out" came to a screaching halt.

One of the funnest parts of that fight was the "war of words" between Enzo and Jack Leow in the lead up.:yep

No i have not read the other thread and I am pretty glad I have not considering the way you post about pavlic on here.

What I want to know is how someone can say the stuff you have and truly believe it. You seem like a smart person, I am pretty sure you agree with the nearly everyone on here but you just are infatuated with him

Nope. Just get sick of people twisting my words and trying to rewrite history. It is what it is. Calzaghe against Dawson? Joe gets killed. He NEVER considered that fight. Put a poll up on that one if you want.

Just outside enjoying the nice weather. I haven't had my boat out in years. I just pulled the cover and am cleaning it up some. I need to get out fishing a little. Maybe I can invite JT? :think

About the time I'm done with the Calzombies and cleaning the boat it's going to be cold again, but I'll work on it. :D

And you are right. About the time the started studying film on Kelly for the Lockett fight is about the time Ole Joe went senile and forgot Kelly's name.

But then how do we equate that with the fact that Lockett was positive after facing Pavlik that Calzaghe would beat him? Or that the same Enzo Calzaghe who you think had 'taken a close look at Pavlik' was one of the people most bullish about Hopkins' chances against Pavlik? Calzaghe Sr predicted that Hopkins would nullify Pavlik's punch output with his movement and would 'outclass' him. And who was posting heavily in the threads discussing his prediction and ridiculing the idea? That would be Messers BooRadley and Hermit...
