Surely it would be easy for Joe to fight at an unnatural weight against someone who'd need to put on FIVE WHOLE POUNDS to make it fair.

 

Calzaghe 168 was his weightclass.

 

calzaghe struggled to make 168 for years. there is no way he'd be able to go any lower than that.

i know a lot of people see this as a joke thread ( myself included) but leonard would be going up three weights. great fighters have done this a lot through out history. not as much as the great fighters moving up only two weights, but still, it has been done a lot.

duran was able to move up two weights to beat leonard. and duran was able to move up FOUR weights, and nearly beat the champ at middle. hagler.

so this isn't as big a joke as some are making out. but yeah, calzaghe would be too big for leonard.
