I think a young Eubank would certainly have beaten Joe.Benn and Collins would have been more suitable for him but both would have been tough fights.I think he may have beaten Benn as he could run out of steam in a hard fight.Collins is a lot better than he sometimes gets credit for and was a very tough fit fighter.I think Collins would outpoint Joe but it would be close.
You've got to be fair to Joe and accept that, against Eubank, he was young and immature. If you look at the guy that got up to win against Mitchell (a good puncher delivering a perfect counter) - his speed, aggression and awkward delivery - he's going to give any version of those three problems. He beats prime Collins clearly, he beats prime Eubank on points in a close fight where he maybe gets rocked after trying to out-macho Chris, he beats Benn by stoppage with good movement and keeping him off balance while busting him up before exhaustion finishes him off. Also, Benn wasn't the puncher at 168 that he was at 160.
i think he beats collins by ud eubank is tougher fight but i think joe gets the dec calzaghe could be hit and i think benn would beat him by tko i know joe has a good chin but he has been down against mitchell who did not punch as hard as benn and we are talking about the benn of the mccellan fight, saying that can understand people calzaghe i just think joe would have his hands to low and want to prove how good his chin was and that would give benn his chance
I think hed win decisions over eubank and collins not convinced his style was so great for benn as others though, think he would probably take a fair few punches
