    Calzaghe's chin is getting underrated here, he could be caught off balance and stunned early but since when did Abraham start early.

    I think Calzaghe has a lot will and determination. Like you say, Calzaghe has shown throughout his career that he can be caught early while ad******g and gauging. But he's hasn't been in with a skilled, bonafide puncher like Abraham. And yes, you're right, Abraham is a slow starter. However, he's opportunistic, as Miranda 2 (KO 4) showed.

    1st - Alcatraz do not make comparisons between a NEVER world champion in Miranda and an UNDISPUTED/UNDEFEATED world champion like Calzaghe. Abraham's win over Miranda is meaningless against Joe.

    2nd - Comparisons between Lacy and Abraham go as far as chin, heart and power and end there, though in all honesty, I think a fight between the 2 would actually be pretty good. Miranda has a glass chin and gets KO'd in a strong wind, whereas Lacy does not. Lacy would also keep coming forward throwing power shots which may upset Abraham and force him to work early. Interesting fight.

    3rd - Abraham is too boring, too predictable and relies way too much on the other guy gassing. I also wouldn't say his defence was great, its more like completely covering up for the 1st 6 rounds.

    Bottom line.......Abraham = A hard,solid fighter with good power.
    Calzaghe = TOP CLASS ELITE.

    Calzaghe on points by 7 rounds to 2 with 3 even.

    Joe would win in good fashion but AA would land some telling shots but Joe does not go down in this one.

    calzaghe would take him apart, ****in easily. how long would abraham stay in the ring with say even b-hop? even today. i think bernard would have abraham out of there. and bhop is almost cashing his pension. i think calzaghe would have him out of there even quicker. i like abraham but hes made for certain fighters, with that peek a boo style. if you show a fighter like calzaghe target all night , theyre gonna hit it. joe would be far to fast for him.

    :lol::lol: Bernard would knock out Abraham? :lol::lol::lol: I think he'd outclass him but think about what you're saying, scuba. Bernard beat the **** out of Pavlik for twelve straight rounds and didn't knock him out. He hasn't knocked anybody out since 2004! That's nine straight opponents, nearly six years. And he's going to knock out Abraham? How's that? I question whether or not he had it in him five years ago, but today? He can't stop a nobody Ornelas or a shot to **** Jones who was coming off a first round stoppage but he knocks out Abraham even today? :nut

    If Dirrell can make AA look silly then so can Calzaghe for sure.

    This would have been an AWESOME fight! Every ****** on here will pick Calzaghe "wide and easy" (so I'll take AA by KO out of protest, even though I really lean toward Joe) however the fight would be very, very interesting because of their styles. I'd love to see it.

    I'd got with Joe. Abraham is a good fighter but so overrated it's untrue. The guy is a human punchbag who decides to fight for only 10 seconds every round.
