I know it may sound very fanboy-like, but I don't think anybody in the (super)middleweight can match AA's punching power.
Three years ago I'd say Calzaghe, but now the result is much less certain. Three years ago it would have looked like Calzaghe-Mkrtchyan (another Armenian banger whom Calzaghe stopped in seven rounds).
Calzaghe slap-flurries Abraham, impressing the judges to win a UD around 116-112 or 117-111, unless Abraham manages to catch him off gaurd/balance with something big.
I don't dispute that Abraham hits hard. So does Lacy. So does Kessler. Calzaghe outboxed them fairly easily. Logic suggests that to beat Calzaghe you've got to knock him out, or knock him down a few times at least, which no-one's yet done. I think Abraham could certainly hurt Calzaghe if he hit him flush, maybe even floor him, but I don't see it happening more than once, and I certainly don't see him getting the KO. Calzaghe by points (most likely) or late TKO. :bbb
I'd take Joe. AA is no shirking violet, the guy will make some waves in MW and SMW in days to come. But, ultimately, he goes into his turtle shell defense to rest, that's where Joe would simply punish him. Joe's chin and defense is good enough to take shots from Abraham and Joe has deceptive power, enough that would ensure Abraham would think twice about coming in. I think it'd be a good fight though, one I'd like to see.
Abraham knocked out Edison Miranda in 4 rounds, and now he is going to somehow be competetive with Calzagheatsch Guys!! It was Edison Miranda!
I could see that being a good fight because Abraham would take the fight to Calzaghe and with Calzaghes fast hands eventually the accumulative effect of his fast punches would deal with Abraham imo.

Abraham can beat just about everyone campaigning at 160. Super middleweight just isn't a good idea for him - several fighters I'd favor over him by a wide margin. Even Lucian "Joe Lite" Bute would coast to victory; and someone like Andrade would smash him.
