Let's be serious, apart from Kessler, Calzaghe chose carefully his last opponents, in terms of risk-reward. Bute would be very risky, whatever Calzaghe's fans can say.

I don't think he would succeed in making a comeback. At the end, his hands were not able to hit hard as he was able when he was young. Some idealize Calzaghe but when you're 38 and retire for a certain time, you cannot recover. It's just impossible. Calzaghe would not be the guy he was. Calzaghe did all he could to have a legacy, he won't scrap all his work. Even the possibility of being 50-0 did not make him stay in the business.

Calm down, dear Froch's fan. I know you just want to discredit Bute in order to keep your boy the higher you can in the rankings. The problem is Froch looked like **** against Dirrell. He acted like a bar bouncer. Bute was clearly winning and ko'd one of the toughest guy in the sport. He knocked down a guy who has a granite chin and put him down again with a beautiful bodyshot. Don't be jealous. Being a top ten is already a great achievement for Froch.

none of those fighters at 168 could beat joe, the one that have the best chance are the slicksters direll and ward.them 2 guys can go hard in the ring and they are the only ones that could hang in there with joe without geting outclassed.

joe fights like the slick black fighters with speed and combos.chin like the mexican fighters.volume punches in all angles good foot work.he should just stay retired, but he is in the history books.so what he does now not will only add and not take away from his legacy in my book.

In everything you say, you can put Joe WAS.

p.s. Bute is as slick as Ward and Dirrell but punches harder.

Let`s be serious when Andrade, who is no world beater, was slapping Bute all over the ring and making him look second rater who would even consider him being in the same town as Calzaghe let alone same ring?

I suspect you watched the fight on a bad stream because Andrade was not slapping Bute all over the ring, he was missing all over the ring. He was receiving big 4 shots combos though. Are you stupid enough to say Andrade was winning on your card? Everybody was saying Bute could never knock Andrade. He did it. you'll have to accept the fact.

P.S. Andrade is still ranked in the top ten so he's not a journeyman.

On the other hand, Bika gave Calzaghe a hard fight, but Bute solved him after 2-3 rounds.

Prime for prime Calzaghe takes Bute. Simply on another level.

Well who was the dude who had Bute on the verge of being stopped then? Bute was impersonating a human punch bag at the time?

He was up at 8 but to know it you must know how to count. Froch was down, Calzaghe was down many times, many great boxers were down. And Bute is not my heroe, he's my favourite boxer. Since you're a kid, you still have heroes and think all the world can be described between "good" and "evil". Why are you so jealous of Bute's last performance? What does it take from one of your heroes?

Bute is not at his prime yet. Anyway we'll never know, they won't ever fight.

The dude is top ten for many years. That's who he is and you're one of the very few who doesn't have any respect for a true warrior like Andrade. I assume you don't really like boxing because real fans don't write such things.
