joe wouldn't even take the fight, so how does he 'take it'? answer - by running in gibbering in fear and then letting some fanboy write 'coulda woulda shoulda' posts again.
First off, do you believe it was the same Hopkins of when Calzaghe beat him? You need to consider also that Dawson was an established LHW, and he didnt have Hopkins wanting to hold and look for time out. Calzaghe did. Hopkins seemed the stronger down the stretch with Dawson, but not with Calzaghe. As for this not wanting to fight, consider after Calzaghe beat Hopkins and retired and Hopkins didnt. Dawson chased Hopkins and it took at least 4 years later for that fight to get made, so that point is not valid. But a point that is valid is - how Dawson won a WBO title (not world) at SMW, decided against staying there, where Calzaghe was, went up to LHW to fight fighters like Johnson who had lost more than won at SMW, who gave Dawson a tough time. After Calzaghe retires, Dawson drops to SMW.
Surprised you need an answer Still here is the answer below with your own posts Below on a thread not even about Calzaghe, you mention him atsch All these posts and they arent all, are under 2 weeks old. Prime example of hater :deal Now run along Herol, as you are being found to be a boring joke poster that has been clogging up the ignore post list for many
I only see one person running from the question, and his name is bailey. copying your hero cowardzaghe when he ran in fear from dawson, I see. you should not run in fear from my questions like gibbering joe fleeing from dawson since I am not going to KO you like dawson might well have done to joe. so just answer the post.
I think it is clear what would have happened had Dawson dropped to fight Joe at 168.. That would have ended in a KO/TKO in my opinion.
:huh what the hell? Hopkins moves off the back foot and tries to get his opponent to follow him so he can step in off his feints to land, then gets back to using the ring. Hopkins barely goes on the front foot in fights. Calzaghe is the opposite. he fights a lot on the front foot as well as the back. so instead of trying to counter Dawson and having to deal with his long reach, Joe would just take it away from him by pushing him all the way back and staying close to Dawson. so what you're saying doesn't even make any sense. but that doesn't surprise me in the slightest. you actually used to be a good poster but have turned to **** for about a year now.
Incidentally, Zaggers would have schooled Bad Glass Jawson. Jawson got a gift against journeyman plodder Johnson FFS.:rofl:roflatsch
Triangle theories don't count as you said. Joe was floored on his ass in all his fights at LHW. He's unproven at the weight in my book. Dawson's straight solid shots would be more impressive than Joe's wild flailing. Dawson by decision.
Dawson has been put down more times at SMW than Calzaghe so with your logic, Dawson at SMW would not do too well and at LHW Dawsons biggest win is a Calzaghe victim, not to forget Dawson got KOd by another fighter who had lost to a SMW journeyman and having his first fight at LHW. Dawson has been put down by lesser LHWs, and Dawson lost to a fighter who went on to lose to a Calzaghe victim, so your logic constantly gets blown out the water. Dino gets owned again. Carry on like this and you will become as poor a poster as Herol Gee :-(
Writes that , then writes thisatsch Dawson was a sharper and more accurate puncher at LHW than Joe. Joe gave a horrid performance against Hop. Dawson was to tall and rangey to get out boxed by scatter shots. Maye at SMW joe might do better but not above and Joes reluctance to fight reflects that.
LOL. Dawson would have to be 50 or KO'ed in his previous 3 fights before Slappy White would fight him.
Incidentally Dawson beat Tarver who made Calzaghe over stay his welcome at SMW by 4 years becacue zaggers knew that was the fight for him if he moved up
