no at age 36, joe would have got destoryed if he was getting knocked down casually by 40somethings.

prime froch hits harder and better than a 40something. Theres a good reason joe ran as soon as someone like froch became an unavoidable mando, he could easily have fought one of the "big" title mandos before moving up for roy.

Joe had to preserve his zero, without which he only had injured kessler and maybe reid and bika to flaunt in his 11 year career - one ok or good defence every three years..absolutely appalling, easily one of the worst records for a long term SMW titlist.

however, I will concede you this - prime joe would probably have outpointed green regional fighter level kid froch by SD, thats why he tried to give the midlands level fighter a fake world title shot.

why though? becasue the evidence supports him.

its joe who provides the evidence, if you blame anyone blame him. noone made him do what he did.

    No basis.

GGG never fought at 168. Calzaghe never fought at 160.
    Nuff said. :hat

Resume - probably yeah, even though Pavlik turned out to be limited and over rated himself.

Bank account - I'm not too sure about that tbh. Probably not much of a difference.

Anyway I can see why a fighter might want their last fight to be an easy, low risk payday. Froch wanted Chavez Jr, Floyd fought Berto. The desire and motivation is often waning by that stage.

Herol, I can see you're off your meds again, and you appear to have been skipping group.

A flash KD and up in three secs or less, is completely meaningless in terms of assessing the quality of a chin, especially if a KD comes from an illegal blow.

After some 'figuring-out' rounds, Joe decisively beat a prime Kessler, who hit harder than Froch.

Prime Froch was unable to be a beat a lesser version of a no-longer-undefeated Kessler some years later.

Froch would have been comprehensively schooled against the Welsh dragon.

He would have taught him more things than he's taught Missus Gee !:D

And now, Herol, get back on them pills that the shrink prescribed for you.

They do have some unfortunate side-effects in the area of the libido, but I'm sure Missus gee would rather have you calm and rational than utterly obsessed with all things Calzaghe.

It's for your own good, lad.

We all want you to get better !

He split everything with Roy 50/50, and the fight was a PPV flop.

I agree with everything else you've written.

as if not underline my point, it happened TWICE, something a kook like you ignores

joe was losing till kesslers damaged hand gave in, is what you mean. Thats what "figuring out" was to joe.
And joe didnt fight prime kessler, he RAN from prime kessler as soon as mikkel had his hand surgery.

Thats was the ONLY thing joe did with prime kessler, ran for the hills.

he beat him so your point is the point of an idiot.

You forget its what you do that counts not what you say. froch fought prime groves in his last fght, theres no comparison between him and joe running away from title defences to face 40something.

but at least your hero did make some history as the first titlist to run away and face 40somethings as the highpoint of their career. Theres something unique for you to worship, and it'll be a long long time before anyone else does that again, you can count on it.

Calzaghe by 12 round shut out. ****s sake people come on. GGG is a good middleweight, he aint beating a supermiddle/light heavy as good as Calzaghe. This fight would be one sided - a young Calzaghe knocks him out, an old one wins every round.
