No one can guess how this fight would play out as Calzaghes been off for a while and Hopkins isnt looking exactly fresh is he?

Nah the first fight was enough for me, no need for a rematch.

If Calzaghe is making a comeback surely he should take on the like of Campillo/Shumenov step it up with Tarver/Braehmer then fight Dawson/Pascal

If he is to come back then Hopkins in Cardiff is the way to go.

As a Hopkins fan, I'm not overly keen on the rematch anymore either. Simply for the fact, if Hopkins won, they would say he beat a semi-retired cokehead. Which wouldn't be far wrong, to be fair.

 

I don't think Hopkins would win this time. He looked terrible in his last two fights.

 

Hopkins wins the rematch if it happens. not only will he work him out, he'll probably be in better shape than calzaghe. anyway, i'd rather see calzaghe take on froch or the winner of s6. froch vs cal would great for brit boxing

 

Yes you can. He fought there what twice? He looked pretty average at light heavy and doesn't have the frame to carry quality weight.
