i hope that there is a 24/7 people say how boring joe is but it will show more than just what he is portrayed as in the media, im thinking that this fight wil have enzo on the undercard, this may be a possible reason he declined the haye fight because he already has something lined up in america lets hope so could be a very good year for joe and he most definitely deserves it.

Yea its going really good for Joe and im glad warren is making the fight they said there is only a few more little loose ends to tie up like venue but its been hinted vegas so hopefully it will be a great match up! n the 24/7 will show evreyone a insight on who joe calzaghe is! n how he trains n how bernard hopkins trains , should be really good!

So much for the disillusioned morons who said Hopkins was scared of Calzaghe despite not having any proof to back up their claims.

i just finished calzaghes book which is a good read, if he comes across well in the 24/7 and convincingly beats hopkins, the americans could really take to him and his final fight which wil no doubtedly be in vegas will be massive, kessler calzaghe was an european fight marketed towards america, with this fight as there is an american involved there could be very good ppv takings. hopefully there will be a good undercard aswel. im glad that warren has actually made a big fight for joe in america, i wouldnt have been surprised if they had gone for a three fight plan, a warm up for the hopkins fight against woods so after he eventually fought hopkins, not only would he be a two weight world champion but he would be a undefeated unified two weight world champion, he could then finish off with another superfight possibly in MSG no one could say he didnt achieve then.

What no proof, other than Hopkins accepting a fight 5 years ago, and then suddenly asking for double the $$$?

Why do yanks continually bury their heads in the sand over this?

The only reason he is taking it now, is that he realises he will be seen as a complete joke if he does not. Also, he wants the payday. He realises a loss as a 43 year old and all the American's will shrug their shoulders

I won't mind. I'd see a man that always knew he'd lose against Joe, the only difference being the beating now will be even worse

Oh please. There was no evidence whatsoever that Hopkins was dodging Calzaghe or that he didn't want to fight Calzaghe. After he beat Wright, he clearly stated that he wanted Calzaghe. And i believed him. But so many of Joe C fans stated that Hopkins is a ***** and that he's ducking Joe C. They just didn't have any proof. It was a joke how ignorant some of these fans are.

Hey, if they do fight, that's the only thing I need. If they needed benediction towards you, then there it is, they're fighting each other --- although neither needs it in the first place.

    No

It's yanks burying their heads in the sand as usual. It's well known Hopkins agreed to fight, and then chickened it by pricing himself out

Do you agree with everything Old Popkins says? Such as his racism?

Go and do a little bit of research, inform yourself, and come back. Infact, I'll do it for you, because you seem pretty limp

there's a fairly conclusive article floating around with quotes from some guy who's fairly high up at showtime that back the story up. i'm sure somebody will be kind enough to post it.

How can Hopkins beat the hell out of anyone?

He throws 5 punches a round. He wins a scrappy, cheating decision at best. And that's against good opposition, rather than supernatural fighters like Calzaghe

Can't wait for this, might get some decent odds on Joe. I'll be sticking the house on it
